This piece came to me during a rather awkward position in my life. It was near the closing of the incredibly eventful year of 2020. I had just moved back home from L.A and endured the difficulties of the pandemic. Along with that came a difficult environment to dwell in since I was dealing with the life of living with an alcoholic. The family home felt crooked. What walls once radiated with whimsical and peculiarly pleasant energy, suddenly bellowed with sighs of uncertainty and decay. I felt I was being pushed out to sea towards a brew of everlasting chaos. Sadly, that it was. A brew of chaos. In this piece is the sound of the many positions of the sun, the heat from the summer, the anxiety that ugly events would occur, the sadness of not knowing why the family was being pulled in this way, the pleasantry of a new partner and relationship, and so much more.
